Kids To The Country, Summer ‘07

2007 is Kids To The Country’s 21st year and we had five youngsters, Katrina survivors, from Biloxi, MS among the 70 participants, one of whom is in the water above, top right. Photo by Anita Whipple

One of the special strengths of KTC is the high ratio of counselors to kids allowing for all important one on one interactions as seen above with Senior Counselor David Elliott. David has been on KTC staff for six years. As part of his senior year at the University of Tennessee, where he is majoring in political science, he is interning with the Environment, Science, Technology, and Health (ESTH) Section of the US Embassy in New Delhi, India, looking into the linkages between health and environmental policy.
