IHI is well known and has built very positive relationships throughout Liberia. They have been well suited for establishing programs that build on popular participation and democratization.

Working largely with women, IHI has developed literacy and micro-enterprise development programs focused on theme based instruction around topics such as governance, decision making, economic management and other important issues.

Plenty partners with Imani House by helping the staff write grants to fund their clinic, health education, adult literacy, and sustainable agricultural programs in Liberia.

Plenty is also working with IHI's English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and literacy programs in New York. These classes are made up of either newly arrived immigrants or long time residents of the city who do not have the skills yet to speak, read, or write English well enough to realize their goals in this country.
