KIDS TO THE COUNTRY

Ever since hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, KTC has brought kids from the Gulf Coast up to the Farm in Tennessee for the summer program. This summer KTC hosted 6 Katrina survivors from Biloxi, MS shown above with Plenty Gulf Recovery volunteer, Elaine Langley (lower left), Carol Stachurski of Plenty's Gulf Recovery partner, United Peace Relief (2nd from right), and Jim Selin of Books To Kids.

KTC invites everyone to attend the Kids To The Country Harvest Children's Village with KTC Staff, urban parents and children at the Farm's Community Conference Center in Summertown, TN Saturday Oct. 17 from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be games and crafts and horse riding and a vegetarian lunch at 12:30. Please RSVP by fax to: 931-964-4394 or email to: ktc@the farm.org
