October 31, 1920 - May 9, 2003, corporate CEO, award-winning real estate developer, investment consultant, educator, author, master chef, grandmother and Plenty volunteer, shown here in one of her favorite roles, teaching “Kids To The Country” how to cook. When Dorothy passed away this year she showered blessings upon all who were privileged to know her, and many who never would, bequeathing Plenty a generous financial gift which we are designating as the Dorothy Bates Memorial Endowment Fund in her honor. Thank you Dorothy for your life, your works, your spirit, inspiration and many gifts. We love you.
