Rhino Katrina Rebuilding Fund

Gary Rhine 1951-2006
Gary, who we all knew as “Rhino,” was killed in a small plane crash in January. He was a pilot and flying instructor, Rhino was a founding member of the Farm community and Plenty International and one of our first Emergency Medical Technicians. He helped the Mohawk Nation at Akwesasne, NY start their own ambulance service in 1980, and later on became an award-winning producer of Native American documentaries. See www.kifaru.com

In Gary’s honor and at the request of his wife, Irene, Plenty has created the Rhino Katrina Rebuilding Fund to assist the native peoples of the Gulf.
