BOOKS FOR KIDS

Principal Maria Prout (left) accepts the donation of 742 books for the Boothville Venice Elementary School by Plenty volunteers Jim Selin and Nikki Jackson. The school is located in the Mississippi Delta south of New Orleans and was the only building within 40 miles to survive hurricane Katrina. Over the past 18 months Jim has delivered more than 10,000 children’s books to schools and community centers along the Gulf Coast.
